Overview

Grain is a local-first todo app. TDW Software does not sell personal data, does not run third-party advertising in Grain, and does not use Grain to track you across apps or websites.

Data Grain Stores

Grain stores your tasks, archive entries, app settings, and display preferences on your device using Apple system storage such as UserDefaults and App Groups. This data is used to show your task list and keep app extensions, such as widgets, in sync with the main app.

Voice Input

If you use voice input, Grain requests microphone and speech recognition permission so it can convert your speech into task text. Speech recognition is handled through Apple system frameworks. Grain does not sell or use voice input for advertising.

Cloud Sync

Grain may use Apple iCloud or CloudKit features when sync is enabled. iCloud data is handled by Apple under Apple's iCloud terms and privacy policies. TDW Software does not operate an advertising profile or separate analytics profile from this data.

Analytics And Tracking

Grain does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking SDKs. App Store Connect may provide TDW Software with aggregate download, crash, and usage information supplied by Apple.
